Default Steak & Potatoes Casserole

Steak & Potatoes Casserole

3 Tbsp flour
2 (10-3/4 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup milk
3 lb round steak
1 (4 1/2 oz) can button mushrooms
1 small onion, chopped
7 medium potatoes

In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper. Cut round steak into 2-inch
pieces, dip round steak in flour to coat. In a skillet, brown meat and onion
in a small amount of shortening. Set aside. Peel and slice potatoes in 1/8
inch thick pieces. Boil for only 2 minutes. Mix mushroom soup with milk.
Layer potatoes, steak, and soup misture, ending with soup. Sprinkle with
mushrooms. Bake in 300 F oven for 2 hours. Serves 4.
