Camping Food: Turkey Jerky

Kraft's Louis Rich Turkey Bacon

Use Kraft's Louis Rich Turkey Bacon, available at most grocery stores.
Open package. Cut slices in half. Put slices in dehydrator following
instructions. Or dry slices in 200 degree oven with door slightly open for
around 8 hours. Strips should have lost at least half their weight. Store
in plastic bags. Refrigerate until start of trip. Strips are reported to
last up to 6 weeks on the trail without spoiling.
