Default Tim's Turkey and Mac

This is a little recipe that I worked out myself. It came out really good
and thought I'd pass it on. It's called Tim's Turkey and Mac.

Tim's Turkey and Mac

5 lbs. Ground Turkey
#10 Can Crushed Tomatoes (any brand)
1/2 Cup Frank's Red Hot Sauce
#10 Can Tomato Paste
1/4 Cup Sugar
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 Tbsp Ground Garlic
1 Whole Onion
3 Red or Yellow Peppers
6 Stalks of Celery Hearts
Macaroni Cooked and Drained

In a LARGE Dutch Oven combine crushed tomatoes, Red Hot sauce, sugar,
salt, pepper, garlic, chopped onion, chopped peppers, chopped celery.
Start to simmer. In a large skillet or saute pan, brown the Ground Turkey
until DONE but not too brown. When it is done, dump entire contents of pan
into dutch oven and stir well. Simmer contents of Dutch Oven for an hour
until vegetables are somewhat tender but still a little crisp. Add tomato
paste until thickened to desired consistency. Sauce should not be runny.
Serve over Macaroni or favorite pasta. This one's a BIG recipe and serves
many people. Good for a gathering (like football). You can cut back on the
tomato products can sizes and make less if you want to.

Tim
