Default Pizzaburger Sandwiches

Pizzaburger Sandwiches

1 lb. ground beef
1 Tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. garlic powder (divided)
1/4 tsp. fennel seed
1/2 tsp. dried leaf oregano
1 to 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter, softened
1/2 tsp. paprika
6 Kaiser rolls
6 slices Mozzarella cheese

In skillet over medium to medium high heat, brown ground beef, stirring to
break up clumps, add onions, tomato sauce, ketchup, Parmesan cheese, 1/2
teaspoon of the garlic powder, fennel and oregano. Stir to blend. Reduce
heat to medium low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, in small
bowl, blend together butter, remaining 1/2 tsp. garlic powder and paprika.
Split rolls and spread top halves with garlic-butter mixture. Divide meat
mixture among bottom halves of rolls. Wrap each sandwich in foil. Bake at
350 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
