Someone on this newsgroup has mentioned this book before, is it worth
the money?

for 15 bucks? I'd order it. But first, I have to try all the pickle
recipes in the Big Bernardin Book. Hey, I know, how 'bout you buy it George
and I'll ask you for recipes...;-)

just kidding,

I haven't seen the revised addition but find the previous one good to
have as a supplement to Bernardin and other books.

Haven't reviewed the new edition, I'll get it because I liked the old one.
Wonderful primer on pickle making in general, both fermented & vinegar. Old
edition had many many round the world recipes. I can cruise the world in my
kitchen.

Wow, anything with pickled dirt chunks has got to be good. I wonder if
they sell it in Minny Soda?

Do a review when you get it. I bought one a couple of years ago. If
it has lots of new stuff, I will probably buy it, but not if it is
just a re-hash.

I think that's Edrena's bible. I don't have that one.
