Default Orange zest

How would I preserve orange zest?
Got a good deal on some oranges, would like to keep the zest for
baking latter in the year.

what about freezing it in a little juice? they it would keep the moist
texture?

Either freeze it or dehydrate it. Neither will preserve that fresh
orange scent and taste as well as fresh but it's better than nothing.
