Default grain storage - amaranth...???

I have a package of Arrowhead Mills Organic Amaranth that has a bag code
of 02191. At first glance, I'd have assumed it was from 1991, but it
isn't that old. The bag (unopened) has a few years on it because it had
been mistakenly packed but we're not sure when.

Anyway, is there any reason to worry about amaranth? ...as long as it
hasn't mildewed or turned rancid I mean...
