Maxine, sounds like a nice trip.

I'm wondering why he had to wait until the next day to
pick up the car? I had assumed that you drove your own
car over, in which case that wouldn't make sense. Did you
leave your car behind and rent one there? Just curious.
I've been looking into a trip to NS the next time my sister
and I go to NE and I was curious.

Thanks,
Kate

The price to take your car over on the ferry was more than it would
cost us to rent a car for the 5 days we were there. More than a week
would have made it worth it to bring our own vehicle. The least
expensive rental for us was Enterprise, and they didn't have a car
until Friday. Avis and Budget (I think) have desks at the ferry
terminal in Yarmouth.

Thanks, that's good to know. I did notice that the
cost of taking the car was kind of high. Never thought
about a rental being cheaper. I'll have to keep that in
mind if I go.
