Now you've done it, Ed. Everybody's gonna be wanting one of these! It's
hard to find something as appealing as a cabbage patch doll.

How funny! Local stores sold an item almost identical to that in
various colors the past two summers. They called them "party buckets"
and sold them for filling with ice and beer or soft drinks for a
gathering.

If they weren't labeled "manure baskets", I'd bet you could find
quite a few other practical uses for them.

LOL but they are quite useful in the right setting. I used one this morning. The stable girls had
just cleaned out the section of the barn where I was tacking up the horse for my lesson and it took a
dump, so I had to clean it up. There are several manure buckets in the barn for small clean up jobs.

Looks suspiciously like the utility buckets sold at all the local hardware
stores. I've been tempted to get a couple to dump all the clutter in when I
know someone is coming over. Of course it wouldn't help when they drop in
unannounced as they are wont to do around here. )

Actually, I just bought one of those! Large Manure Basket,
Rope Handles, Red $38.62.

Since we moved I have no laundry tubs so I bought one to
wash big items and the dogs in.

I paid less than $10 Canadian. What a rip!

I did! I was actually looking for a square galvanized
laundry tub but this works even better.

I just found another use for mine. I leave it outside to
collect snow or water and use it for my houseplants because
we have a water softener and that water is no good for my
plants.

Why would softened water be "no good" for your plants?
