Default Terminology: stuffing vs. dressing

Centuries ago, someone at a dinner table asked "please pass the
stuffing" and someone else passed the gravy (dressing) instead and
everyone laughed and it's usage today is simply a centuries-old forgotten
mistake.

You stuff a bird, you don't dress it.
