Excellent for processing soups - make a soup like leek and potato, put part
of it (half, third, quarter - whatever you like) and whizz it until quite
smooth, mix with the rest of the soup - now you have thickness/creaminess
and still some texture. Put all of it in if you want totally smooth soup. Do
with it what you will.

There's many more things of course. Some of them even legal.
