Blender uses

I've just received a blender for my birthday. I've never used one before,
so far I've only made some lovely smoothies. Does anyone have any clever
ideas, uses, or favourite recipes they would like to share.

Excellent for processing soups - make a soup like leek and potato, put part
of it (half, third, quarter - whatever you like) and whizz it until quite
smooth, mix with the rest of the soup - now you have thickness/creaminess
and still some texture. Put all of it in if you want totally smooth soup. Do
with it what you will.

There's many more things of course. Some of them even legal.

Banana bread. Just put everything in the blender including banana
chunks.

Banana pancakes. Ditto. (Except if you're adding mini chocolate
chips for banana chocolate chip pancakes, sprinkle the chips after
you've poured the batter on the griddle).

Lead me not into temptation... I can find it myself!
