Default Bobby and Stephanie ...

.... sittin in a tree. I don't know how my invitation was lost, but
Bobby Flay and Stephanie March have tied the knot.

Perhaps you were invisible. I think all their other invitees were visible.

Bobby asked Steph with a thrill,
His voice sounded quite shrill.
With his apron string,
He earned dough for the ring.
Now that's how boy meets grill.

Is Stephanie the girl from Texas that was cooking with Bobby on his
rooftop? I never knew she was an actress. She is beautiful, indeed.

I seem to recall a show that BF did on a cruise ship a few years ago. I
thought he had a wife then. Did he get a divorce or is my memory bad?

She just did a guest appearance in L&O, preprising her role. Looks like
she's been pretty busy, the IMDB lists three movies in post-production
where she has a part (none look to be starring roles though).

Good job! Here's what I recall ... I saw some show where they had three
chefs being interviewed. Bobby was one, another was that chef from
Aquavit, I seriously forget the third one, but it might have been Molto.
Might. This was easily the mid 90s.

At any rate, the subject of running around made bobby say ... I learned
my lesson, I don't do that anymore, with allusion to him having gotten
married. Apparently Kate didn't put up with it for too long because she
couldn't have been around long.

I can't imagine spending any time with BF that didn't involved a paycheck,
and even then it would have to be handsome pay with good benefits that
didn't involve any physical contact! I guess money makes even the most
arrogant people attractive to some. Look at Rush Limbaugh. His last wife
wasn't gone more than a few days before he took up with Darin Kagen from
CNN. Even if you didn't see Rush as an unbearable blow-hard, he is a man
who is a narcotic addict with a couple of unsuccessful rehabs behind him who
went deaf from drug abuse and has already been married three or four times.
I would think that anyone with a bit of common sense and financial means
would RUN from him.

Do you think she expects him to come home and cook dinner? ;-)

Who? Flay or Limbaugh? If it were me, I would pray they didn't come home.

Had to do a second look to make sure it wasn't Kate Connally.

Flay. Who would want to eat Limbaugh's cooking.
;-)

I would have to agree, both appear to be jerks and unpleasant people
to be around in person.

Rusty

I guess I should introduce myself. I have been an on and off lurker
here at rfc since 1994. I'm 52 years old. My wife and I will celebrate
our 20th wedding anniversary later this year. I was born in Los
Angeles, raised in San Jose, CA and have lived here in Sacramento for
the last 3 years. I have worked for a large computer company for over
20 years. We just fired the CEO, Carly. ;-) I enjoy cooking. Most of
our married life, I have cooked most of the Thanksgiving dinners.
Well that's enough for now.

I don't know. After a couple oxycontin, anything might taste good.

I'd certainly not kick Bobby outta bed for leaving
crumbs. He's got a certain bad boy sex appeal to
me. I *like* him!
As for Rush, he's not much to look at, but I'm
sure he'd be interesting to talk to. I don't agree
with all he says, I don't find him sexy but.. he's
not some whiney slug. He can hold a conversation,
unlike some others.

Flay - Really, I was surprised he was married, but not surprised that he
can't stay married. He seems gayer than Christmas to me. (not a judgment,
just an observation)

Limbaugh - I don't think you would have a conversation with him. First of
all, he doesn't converse. It's all about him. Secondly, he claims that
what you hear on the radio is an act. In real life he is isolated, sullen,
sedentary, and has marginal social skills. In an interview he said that he
started worrying days ahead of time when he anticipated entertaining guests
on the weekend. His idea of a good time is to watch TV from the sofa.
Perhaps that's all he COULD do after loading up on narcotics and liquor.

I don't see Bobby Flay as "gayer than Christmas"
at all. Isn't it interesting how people can view
others in totally different lights? Lucky for me,
I won't have to fight ya for him.

As for Limbaugh, for disliking him as much as you
appear, you certainly seem to pay a lot of
attention to him? LOL
I'd like to meet him and judge for myself instead
of just be convinced of his failings by someone
with their own ax to grind.

Be careful what you whish for. You could end up Mrs. Limbaugh #16! I don't
really pay much attention to him, but when he was in the midst of his
oxycontin addiction/hearing loss/money laundering episode a few months back,
it was hard to miss. It's like a man bites dog sort of thing. There are
plenty of people who get caught-up in drug addiction and who have had
several failed marriages, but when someone who spent years criticizing
others who took illegally obtained drugs, suggesting that they should be put
in jail, and who promotes the "traditional values" angle in politics, is
caught doing the same thing it makes for a memorable event.
