Which translates into "I cannot afford the price of a new washer. I HAVE to
buy used as I'm not as rich as I once was."

Yep.......... right up until you decide you want to boast about buying
a NEW appliance. But you can't do that, because you can't afford it.

Let me guess, you bought a used appliance built in CHINA, right?

You ungrateful bitch! You were a 14 YO NOBODY, one of the least
popular girls on the block, when John decided that you were worthy
of grooming. He was nice enough to lick you and make you come
repeatedly. He even moved you into a lovely mobile home on a
serene moutaintop. Then he got you a small, benevolent butt plug,
and painted a cute little face on it, and named it Benny, but you
rejected it, you ungrateful bitch! All he wanted was to put his dick
in your butthole, and after all he did for you, don't you think you
owed him that? You ruined his life, you ungrateful bitch!

Just curious, and it's really none of my business, but how do
you know such intimate details of sex with a minor?

Hi Bryan OK, so at the time I was impressed with John's sexual
prowess, especially with the licking. But I had barely turned 14 and
had no previous experiences like that. As I got older, I later
realized how lackluster he actually was in bed. Even with a hand job,
he would blow within 20 seconds. And what up with his testicles?
They're kinda weird looking.

Take care,

If you want to 'reduce, reuse, and recycle' why didn't you have your old
washer repaired?? That would have fit into your mantra much better
than buying a.n.o.t.h.e.r washing machine even if it was used and
reconditioned.

Nothing wrong with that! I got some handicap grab bars off Freecycle
yesterday. John B's father died about 6 years ago and he slowly
cleared his house (relatives lived there for small rent equal to cost
of Mortgage/Taxes/Insurance/+ 100$ for repairs).

It didn't generate income but it let his aunt have a good place to live
within her social security income. John B lives modestly but in a nice
house, built about 1925. Fascenating archetecture. Several
modifications over the years but it has unique nooks and crannies
everywhere. Parts seem pretty modern but leaves an overall impression
of maybe late 40's? I loved the kitchen! A very old-time
middle-blue-green cabinets. Seems would make it dark but actually, the
room can carry it off.

Yet another bad buy.

IF he ever gets any more tenants, a hard-use communal
washing machine needs to be robust and reliable. So buying
a secondhand recon (already failed and rejected by its
previous owner) is just the latest way of flushing money
down the Kuthe drain.

Tenants need to be sent to a laundramat... washers fail due to abuse,
typically overloading... no tenant will treat appliances like their
own.
And there is nothing wrong with buying used reconditioned
appliances... they are typically better than new, appliance stores
take in used appliances all day every day and they know which to
recondition and which to scrap. Very often people buy new appliances
because they have to nave the latest to show off, often their old
applaince is superior to new, just needs a very minor tuneup... may
only need a new belt... $30 vs $1,500.

Umm, folks will pay as much as 300$ a month for washingmachine, dryer,
and dishwasher. THey do not cost that much to replace if refurbished.

We had a used appliance dealer in town. Some of the stuff was decent but
the one big appeal was $5 down and $5 a week. For many, the only way to
have a washer or refrigerator.

Not a great deal. That's $260 a year. In 2-3 years that would pay for a
brand new washer... with a warranty. Instead, this deal gets you a
machine that will probably die in a 2-3 years. They'd be better off
looking at a new one.

Often reconditioned is a great buy, 20 years ago we bought a used
reconditioned fridge for our basement for $100, still working
perfectly. The appliance store owner told us that lots of people
have a fridge that only needs a minor tune up but they insist on brand
new. The appliance store mechanics know which used appliances are
better than new and only need minor adjustments.

Exactly why he should have fixed his washer - or at least looked into
the problem.
