Possibly if they thought it was 'fishy'? It's a very mild fish. My favorite method for it is is with about 3 Tablespoons cut up butter and a little black garlic and sea salt mix. Made that way it's very forgiving of longer cooking times if I forget to set the timer and bring it to the computer room. 350F for 30 minutes (lower temp because of all the butter). Can use a little saltfree lemon and black pepper sprinkle as well. In fact, so mild just about any spice combo will do but try to use a light hand with it or will overpower the Cod. |
