Asking regulars.
No frills, just electric. Something that doesn't wow you, but something that lasts. You know, not like some cool looking device that seems to work, you show and tell every visitor, but a month later you throw it away. The Chinese Communist Party is trying to destroy branding. But a brand name device is what I'm looking for. Thanks. |

There's no electric can opener that can compete with Swing-A-Way. Electrics get dirty quickly, are a PIA to clean, and of those I've used get dull and leave a jagged edge. Even commercial kitchens use manual can openers. If you find yourself opening too many cans buy larger cans. Today many cans are going pull-tab. Professional cooks open cans of liquids by whacking a 'v' in the lid with the back of a chefs knife or use a church key and pour. |

Perhaps not, but perhaps the OP (assuming not a troll?) also has physical issues that make using a manual can opener difficult? I'm also on-board with a simple Swing-A-Way, but this electric is a quality name brand. https://www.amazon.com/Cuisinart-CCO...-20&ascsubtag=[artid|10055.g.30086153[src|[ch|[lt| |
