When blacks are more often involved in crime, they'll be pulled over
more often. It sucks for the innocent ones, but they only have their
black brethren to blame.

You would think that after all these years of the black politicians and
reverends, etc. setting a good example and providing opportunities for
education and mentoring, and obeying the law and being responsible
employed citizens, that this would not be such a big problem any more.

Oh, wait . . .

How do you feel about eating cricket products, Bruce? There are some
foods now made from dried crickets....cricket flour. Very high in protein.

Is that hands off killing living creatures for food or do you file them
under eating seafood whose lives don't matter?

Just wondering.

Ah, the meat eater preaches to the pescatarian. That's always fun
By the way, you have a bit of dead cow on your chin.

>Just wondering.

I'm closer to eating less animals than to eating more animals. The
other day, we had Beyond Meat burgers and they were good. Expensive,
and you don't want to look at the ingredients, but they tasted good.

In that case he should appreciate that they were keeping his community
save. My son got pulled over in his car an ID check. He had recently
bought a car with windows that were tinted way too dark. That was the
down side to buying that car which was a great bargain and would be used
to get him back and forth to work... his has a badge and is armed on the
job. So they checked him out and sent him on his way.

A few years back a "study" looked at the race of people who had been
pulled over by Toronto police and the charges laid. It jumped to the
conclusion that black drivers were being profiles because of the high
number of charges for "blind offenses", the things that cops could not
have known when they pulled them over, like driving without a license,
driving under suspension and driving without insurance.

That was a crock. There is a perfectly valid explanation. The cops see
someone making an unsafe lane change, failing to stop at a stop sign,
failing to yield and similar violations. Unless there is a collision
those are violations for which people would get a warning. Charging them
is a hassle because they can go to court and lie and it is their word
against the cops. So they get a warning and are sent on their way.

It is a different matter if they get pulled over for something that
merits a warning and it turns out they are unlicensed, under suspension
or not insured.

There never seems to be a shortage of people from any race or culture
who are prone to reinforcing negative stereotypes.

Then there are those who lie about it. I think it was another group
where we discussed this and I posted a link to a story about a black
university student who went to social media to rant about the hoorible
treatment he had at the hands of the police.

The guy described how he had gone out for a walk to take a break from
studying and all of a sudden there are 4 cop cars with lights flashing
and sirens wailing and a bunch of cops came running after him with guns
drawn and they started questioning him. Then he went on about BLM and
police violence against blacks.

The cop..... singular.. had a dash cam that caught the entire traumatic
incident. There was only one car and one cop. His gun was holstered.
The conversation was all recorded. He approached the guy, said their
had been a robbery nearby and said it wasn't you... thanked him and
said goodbye. The guy's story was all bullshit.

My whacko health food nazi sister in law fed that to my son and his
girlfriend when they visited her. She had made pancakes for breakfast
and after they were finished she told them she had made them with
cricket flour.

They've never told me who to vote for. I've never asked. Occasionally, they'll ask for my advice. I'd never tell them who should get their vote. That would be disrespectful.

Yes, it is. I know a couple of rather intelligent people that like him.
One is very religious, honest, moral person that somehow does not see
all the lies.

I can understand not liking Biden or his party but I don't understand
following a shyster.

I have a friend who is very smart, well educated and well spoken, and
she thought that Trump was wonderful. She was a big fan right up close
to the end. I have to admit that I lost a little respect for her.

How do you explain that? Are these people bad judges of character?

It was a choice between evils and like many, voted early by mail. By
the time the date came, Kamala Harris was my only stopping point on

Same feeling. Steven King books generally are not very good with rare
exception. They DO make good movies overall.

The Green people are eating all the lotus roots and stealing them from

Now, rerun your numbers.
