You might curse me afterwards:-) I bought some once out of nostalgia and my then young Canadian sons discovered it and raved about it. On trips to the UK. I would buy several one litre jars for them and in-laws used to bring some when they visited. It's different! |

About 40 years ago, I was recovering from the flu and had a sudden craving for it (along with Camp Coffee!!!!!) and discovered both in a supermarket with a big import section. I haven't had that coffee since!! It's strange what a fever will do to one's taste buds:-) |

It wasn't used to toss a salad. My sons used it in place of butter in sandwiches. |

Some import sections may have the Cross & Blackwell salad cream which is even more of an acqired taste. |

Can't really describe the taste, it's individual. |
