Fermenting! Once picked pineapple doesn't ripen, it immediately begins to ferment/rot. Where you live the closest to field ripened pineapple is canned. Same for melon. Many fruits are too delicate to ship ripened. I can't grow pineapple here but I can grow melons and I do, the difference between stupermarket cantaloupes/honedews and vine ripened from our garden is like night and day. Since we've been growing our own we no longer are able to eat stupidmarket melons.... they are as tasty as firewood. |

Normal folk would put the last lonely donuts in a zip loc or wrap it in Saran... but who thinks Kootchie is normal let alone human? |
