Apparently this is what an $18 Supreme Pan pizza hut at Pizza Hut
looks like now. Half of it in adorned crust anmd tomato sauce, and the cheese and toppings beings right about where a small pizza would start. https://i.postimg.cc/HsSgMmmx/PH-Pizza-Fail.jpg It took 35 minutes waiting outside and were charges $3 extra. Along with 6 wings for $9. I didn't order this or eat it, I went to Church's next door and got the 3 piece eg and thigh for $2. Clearly Pizza Hut has lost the Pizza Wars. There were 6 pieces of red onion, 7 mushrooms, green peppers temps, and only half the pizza surface area had no cheese and 1/3rd had nothing at all. I know all of you either: 1. Only make your own pizza. 2. Haven't eaten at Pizza Hut for 60 years 3. Only get pizza from (some hole in the wall nobody here has access to) 4. Only grid your own pizza at home because (some ludicrous claim) 5. Don't have pizza hut on your island/rock. 6. Voted for Trump so this kind of stuff doesn't happen. So save those comments <yawn>. -sw |

I used to like it but then they cheapened their product and I haven't been back. There aren't any decent pizza joints here so if we wan't pizza I make my own with dough from the local market but mostly we have doctored frozen pizza, but not often, perhaps once in 3-4 months. There's a place nearby that makes good calzone but they make lousy pizza. |

Well, it is round and has cheese. Does not look appealing at all though. For only pennies more they could do much better. Fortunately we have a good pizza place a mile away. , |

Popeyes used to have $.99 leg/thigh on Tuesday which lasted a few years, but that's long gone and the pieces are smaller (cornish game hen). They're BOTH much cheaper than KFC, which is outrageously expensive. -sw |

I've never liked their pizza but I can't tell you specifically why. My ex husband loved it and Angela and her friends liked it. There used to be one around the corner from me when Angela's dance studio was in the same strip mall. I don't recall any complaints from that location and we used to buy from them occasionally. They left when the mall was partially torn down and rebuilt. Now the one that serves us is further into Bothell and it has horrible online reviews. I did order from them a few times some time back because Angela and her friend claimed to like their chicken. As it turned out, they liked the chicken from another location. Not that one. These days if I order, I order from Dominos. Sad to say that is the best pizza in this area that I've found, and also the cheapest. I love their Mediterranean sandwiches so much that I'll buy two. I also get a pizza where I choose my own toppings. I generally only do this if I'm craving beef and have no beef in the house. Unless I am entitled to a free cheese pizza from Dominos, if it's cheese pizza I want, I just make a frozen one. The Great Value Rising Crust is good. I do doctor it up by adding whatever little bits of cheese I have in the fridge. It's never the same way twice but it's always good. |

The crust spins while a machine swirls the sauce on. Yes, I am easily amused. The toppings appear to be pre-portioned. I don't think you can customize but I could be wrong. I've gotten a slice of cheese pizza a couple of times. It was good but far too much food for me. |

The Popeye's here in Everett has horrible reviews. We had one briefly in Lynnwood before I was married. I picked up some food on my way home from work. My now ex husband loved it but it was not for me. I only had sides. Everything was too heavily seasoned for my liking. There is a KFC in Lynwood. I don't know how they are still open. I never see anyone there and I don't know anyone who eats there. We have an Ezell's around the corner. People rave about their food and they are always busy but I got food from them twice and nobody would eat it. Not even the highly rated rolls. It smells good but it's VERY greasy! They have poor online reviews as well. |

Crust is easy, and provolone/full fat mozzarella cheeses are pretty standard, but when I started using Stanislaus Full Red, my pizza improved dramatically. Escalon has fans who insist that it is even better than Stanislaus. Both are made from the highest grade tomatoes, and are carefully processed. You are correct. It really is, "all in the sauce." > > -- > Snag > Illegitimi non > carborundum --Bryan |

For years I had a gall bladder issue that made tomatoes a problem for me, so I tended to avoid a lot of Italian foods. Now I can eat the stuff once in a while and started to like pizza more than I used to. The best pizza I ever tasted had no tomato sauce at all. It had sliced eggplant and goat cheese. It was delicious. |

That's why so places invest in fancy ovens - not sauce. And most places don't use full fat motz, it's almost always part skim. -sw |

The best sauce in the world will not save a pizza with a crappy crust. To me, the crust is so important that I vanishingly rarely use sauce. Diced fresh tomatoes do the trick for me. Cindy Hamilton |

That would work for me if they were home grown and ripe. No supermarket tomatoes. Even better - since I have a couple food mills and a tomato mortar/strainer - fresh crushed tomatoes. I have too many deer and other varmints to set up to grow just tomatoes and peppers (I don't live in urban Bel Nor). -sw |
