I understand the logic of the Electoral College but began to doubt it
last time round. Apart from the 41% (which I know could change
quickly) my own US friends, most of whom are dedicated Republican
families for eons, are voting anything but Trump and can't quite
believe they have to!

If he wins, at least I get to see more of my favourite standup
comedian. He's at his best when he starts improvising.

Trump believes that people will do anything for some money. It's probably
more true in America than in Scotland.

Yes, it was. Gary seems to be all about that lately while pretending to

Many trolls use AIOE. It's the easiest to sign up for.
Valid people do use it too. Dumb blonde move to killfile
the entire group. AIOE is not an evil ng server.

Yeah, that was you that said that but you did explain how it
wasn't meant to be harmful.

And I meantioned her diet eating which is common knowledge.
For those that know how to read properly, that is.

I try often to remain "nice" to Jill but she makes
it hard to do.

We both defend John and Julie in different ways.
You respond to the bullies for what they said.
I throw back the same meanness to them, just like they
do to John and Julie. I like to give them a dose
of their own medicine.

She's become extra nasty since she broke up with her imaginary lover.

They're very nasty, but they think so highly of themselves.

I used it for a couple of years eons ago before I signed up with apn.
I had aioe and et because at that time both could be unreliable.

I also used it for a few years. I still have it for backup
reading when ES goes down occasionally.

Ed, your post got me to thinking about 'Taco Joes'. Or should I say
'Taco Jose's?

I've got some soft hamburger buns in the freezer. I've got ground beef.
Also ground pork; could use a combo. Tomato sauce and taco seasoning
- easy enough to make my own with ground chili powder, turmeric, ground
ancho or (for mild) chipotle and some cayenne pepper. Ground thyme. But
hey, I probably have an envelope of McCormick's taco seasoning in the
pantry. 'Taco Joes' might be on the menu for later in the week. I
have some sliced pepperjack cheese which might make a nice addition
after spooning the hot cooked seasoned ground meat on the bun; put on
the top and the cheese will melt. Taco Joes; just another variation on
a familiar food theme.

Top with home made mac and cheese and pile onto taco shell boats.
This was up there on the list of my best Joes.

Sheldon, there is no meat in Manwich (sloppy joe) canned sauce. It's
tomato sauce with bell pepper, onion and spices. I'll save Bruce the
trouble, here's the link to the ingredients:

https://manwich.com/sloppy-joe-sauce/original

Hmmm, HCFS *and* corn syrup. Yummy! Carrot fiber and dried green and red
bell peppers. Guar gum.

You add this gunk to cooked ground beef. Mystery meat at this point
would be the least of your worries. LOL

Ophelia wouldn't eat sloppy joes anyway because the word "pepper" is
involved.

I bought 4 cans when they were BOGO, and while I did eat the sloppy joes, I donated to remaining 3 cans. It's pretty bad.

The next time Penzey's runs a good "free with purchase" special, I'm going to buy a bag of dried pepper flakes.
