Ed, your post got me to thinking about 'Taco Joes'. Or should I say
'Taco Jose's?

I've got some soft hamburger buns in the freezer. I've got ground beef.
Also ground pork; could use a combo. Tomato sauce and taco seasoning
- easy enough to make my own with ground chili powder, turmeric, ground
ancho or (for mild) chipotle and some cayenne pepper. Ground thyme. But
hey, I probably have an envelope of McCormick's taco seasoning in the
pantry. 'Taco Joes' might be on the menu for later in the week. I
have some sliced pepperjack cheese which might make a nice addition
after spooning the hot cooked seasoned ground meat on the bun; put on
the top and the cheese will melt. Taco Joes; just another variation on
a familiar food theme.
