Default Lunch tomorrow

My cousins is coming over with some canned saurkraut, a few hot Italian sausages, and some zucchini pancakes. Sometimes she adds grated potatoes to the grated zucchini.

Sounds good. Tomorrow is my day to eat lunch out, so it's not very interesting.

Today was leftover roasted cabbage (reheated in a dry frying pan) and a
roast pork (leftover) sandwich with Dijon mustard and mayo on rye.

I tried this method for the roasted cabbage:

It was very simple and delicious.

Although I skipped the dressing entirely. I might try it another time.

Sadly, every time I bring out the leftovers, my husband complains that
the cabbage smells bad. I promised I'd try green beans or zucchini
next time.

Tonight, roasted chicken thigh, baked potato, Chambord carrots. I made
it Sunday so this is the microwaved duplicate left over.

My neighbor across the alley brought me a bowl of white chicken chili or
whatever it is called. Anyway, that will be my supper tonight.

I remember the original Goldberg's on TV when I was a child. But I live in
an older section of the city and we have alleys; useful things they are.

When I was in NYC, I needed to go to Coney Island to see the Wonder Wheel. That wheel moved me. It was featured in one of the beginning shots in the movie: 'The Warriors'. I wish now I would have taken a photo. I'll have to go back. Maybe get a Coney Dog.
