You will need very fresh pickling cukes (Kirbys), I grow my own and harvest them small (3"-4") before they become seedy. The salad cucumbers at market won't work as besides their thick skin they are waxed, The pickling cucumbers sold at market are usually too old for good results, they'll become soft/mushy rather than Krrrisp! |
