though.

Pickles are often served with grill cheese

Dude! You are so enlightened! I know that you know that atheism is a
religion unto itself, and you're a disciple. Go for it! Preach to us!
We desperately need your words of wisdom. Pfffft!
And by the way folks, I'm agnostic. I'm not stupid enough to think that
if I truly saw the way on my own, I'd reject it.

I used to love Swanson's Turkey and Dressing TV dinners in the aluminum
tray. I would still buy them if available and made the same.

Isn't agnosticism somewhere between atheism and deism?

From a legal stand point atheism is in fact a religion. Other than
that it is not.

re·li·gion

noun

the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power,
especially a personal God or gods.
(atheists have no magical sky daddies)

a particular system of faith and worship.
(atheists have no faith in magical sky daddies)

a pursuit or interest to which someone ascribes supreme importance.
(Atheists have no magical sky daddies to pursue or to be interested
in)

>We desperately need your words of wisdom. Pfffft!
>And by the way folks, I'm agnostic. I'm not stupid enough to think that

I seriously doubt that... By saying you are not stupid enough...
simply means you are too afraid to totally admit that there is no god.
An agnostic HAS NO FAITH IN ANY GODS aka fairies aka harry potter aka
the gingerbread man.

Hell, Mao Tse Tung did much more than that. So did Stalin. So did Pol
Pot. And then there's that so-so killer Hitler. That's just in the
Twentieth Century. That's socialism/communism for you. You really
don't know much about history, do you? You probably read the NYT.
I hear Maduro has been kicking capitalist ass in Venezuela. His people
are starving and in revolt. Putin (still commie) and Xi Jinping (always
commie) are worried about him.
How old are you? What mental garbage have you been fed? Did your
teachers do this to you?

Don't forget the millions that Kissinger killed in Asia. Or Hiroshima.
Or Nagasaki.

It has been brought up already and shot down

Ya see this is where education would normally come in. Hitler was a
christian, at least up until the last year or 2 when his mental
illness coupled with copious amounts of drugs drove him stark raving
mad.

>Twentieth Century. That's socialism/communism for you. You really
>don't know much about history, do you? You probably read the NYT.

That's the thing, I know what I am talking about, I am afraid Your
friends, out there on the sanctuary moon, are walking into a trap, as
is your Rebel fleet. It was I who allowed the Alliance to know the
location of the shield generator. It is quite safe from your pitiful
little band. An entire legion of my best troops awaits them

Oh damn wrong speech..... I hate it when that happens...

ya see dude I have as I told the last person that challenged me with
this like uhh yesterday that I have spent the last few years
researching that exact question.. If you don't believe me then go to
alt.atheism and down load the last messages from the last few years I
can guarantee you there will be several discussions about this very
thing where they are all shot down every time...

Ya see pool pot and Stalin and even Hitler and their pals are the
theist go to, usually christian. Thing is christians are just not that
intelligent and usually are just repeating a few words that they heard
from some other christian awhile back.

As I said did you even know that Hitler was a christian? Did you even
know that Stalin was raised and even studied to be a priest? Did you
know they were all communists save Hitler so that should tell you
something.

If I may can I give you some advise... don't challenge an atheist
about religion or other theist matters in general, you will lose every
time. I have debated people with masters degrees in religious studies
and put them down. A christian woman gave me a video to watch about
the garden of Eden, she said she loved that video because it was so
moving to her. I watched it, actually payed attention to it and then
told her what it was actually about.... she does not like that video
anymore.

Please do us both a favor and killfile me so that we do not have to
engage in these useless series of questions that I have been asked so
many times before.

that is a very accurate description but not often used because theists
don't know what deism is

It did not appeal to me either, but it turned out to be pretty good.
That being said, I never ordered one for myself.

A bunch of more crap, all it does is get into atheizem with a thin
veneer on cooking now added. At least, from what is quoted. His very
name espouses religious hatred and is no better than outright racism.

We may not be perfect here, but we are not about that and never have
been. We don't try to religiously convert one another here. That he
is an atheist is his business. No one here would care if he were not
so rude with the name and now trying to argue his atheism.

He gets the 'whatever' flag when folks quote him.

I thought it meant something like "It is impossible to know", which is
quite a bit different.

I love pickles, too, but NEVER on any sandwich of any kind, never. For me,
pickles are in the same category of slaw, never on a sandwich.

Sure it is, it's a burger without a pickle and no cheese and no ketchup. For
_me_ I find pickles and ketchup just overpowers the flavor of the burger.
Just don't care for cheese on a burger is all I can say about that addition.

And yet, you used advise as a noun. It is possible that I will take the
-->advice<-- in your second paragraph, but I never let someone know
when I make them go bye-bye. Questions remain unanswered regarding your
age and education. Oh, well. For now...

If the skies open above you and God talks to you, then you know that
either God exists or you're having a hallucination. Barring that, it's
impossible to know so we don't know.

It is probably more apt to say that his username demonstrates that he is
an offensive ass.

This situation is not unlike Andy Kauffman's appearance on ABC's
Fridays, where he announced that he was born again and got all preachy
and then got yanked off the show. It would have been in bad taste for a
person hosting the show to start preaching to the audience as a born
again Christian, and it would be in equally bad taste to make fun of
them. This guy just doesn't understand why his actions are
offensive.... or... he is trying to be offensive. Either way.... it is
offensive.

Have you ever watched Ancient Aliens on the History Channel? Religion
aside, the point out many possibilities of other life forms that may
have visited here.

It is very possible there are life forms in the universe that are more
powerful than anything we know.

Yup. I could fire up a fake nym of 'ihate(insert group)@(insert
group)peopleshouldie.pl' and it would be just as offensive.

He;s socially clueless or playing a nym game. Either way, I see him
like so many others, only in quotes. Thats really strange for a new

same point that fast.

Oh Oh but I do know and FULLY understand and FULLY appreciate and
respect every ****ing theist that I offend and cause an unruly angst
against me. I don't give a ****. Theists are IDIOTS.... I AM NOT the
one talking about religion..... YOU ARE.. I am simply defending my
words and phrases. that is all nothing more nothing less. If you do
not like being called an idiot theist then you have 2 choices.. ignore
me or stop being an idiot and believing in fairies.

Oh qoq <get it?> not<get it> you are going to try and act as though
you are morally superior and far more educated and older and wiser
and... You being so morally superior want to rag on me because I made
a typo and spell check chose the incorrect word to fill in.. Oh wait
that is not because you are morally superior it is because you are a
theist and believe that fairies are real and are going to grant you a
magical harry potter power when you die so that your "soul" will
remain forever on your knees to a god that demands your worship for
the rest of eternity.... HOW ****ING STUPID IS THAT??????

And well really I don't give a **** if you have a PhD in quantum
physics facts are facts. and the first fact I wish to comment on is
that theists are morons. NO MATTER WHAT EDUCATION THEY HAVE. they
could hold a triple PhD in the three hardest areas of science and if
they believed in fairies they would still be one of the biggest (most
educated) morons in the world...

ANYONE and I do mean ANYONE that has a belief and faith that gods aka
fairies are real then they are a ****ing moron.

from the famous cellular commercial.... let me just say
"can you hear me now?"

correction... theists have no clue about everything really
agnostics know for sure that questions about gods are freaking stupid
because an answer can not be known
atheists laugh at everyone because they actually know, fully
understand why fairies can not exist

Nope. I'm afraid that I might turn religious. I really believe that
other intelligent life exists. How can it not? The old "why aren't they
here" question means that the vastness of the Universe keeps us apart.

Clarke's "a sufficiently advanced technology will be viewed as magic"
truth applies to me. If the aliens summon my dead parents for a
meaningful conversation, I will start to believe in way more than I do.
That's why I'm agnostic.

[ObFood] Chicken and Bisquick dumplings. That's it. I figure that the
plentiful celery and onions in the broth constitute vegetables.

I don't think I've ever intimated that I own or even want to own a burger
joint. But I have no trouble with ordering my burger without pickles and without ketchup. Choices! It's a wonderful thing; if we all ate what you
ate how boring we'd all be.

what he or it depending on the religious affiliation is that I was
just given more props that it would ever have expected to hand out....

It just said that I had an effect on 10 of us 20 regulars <sic> that
it has never had nor could ever hope to have....

I wonder though..just whom exactly, is clueless now
