Default Thanksgiving Dinner

We are doing it tonight. My son, his girlfriend and my brother are
coming. Everything appears to be under control. I dressed the turkey
and stuck it in the oven about an hour and a half ago. It should be
ready to take out at 5:30. Potatoes are peeled and cut and the beans
trimmed and all are sitting in cold water. I halved a couple butternut
squashes and sprinkled them with brown sugar cinnamon and ground ginger.
They are ready to go into the oven.

Last night I baked a pumpkin pie. There was a little extra dough and
filling so I made a couple tarts and had one of them for dessert last
night. It was delicious.

Now I get to take the dogs for a walk while my wife mops the floor,
makes a salad and makes up a fruit platter.

Happy Thanksgiving.
