I never said all wold need 3 pairs of glasses. The only time the 3rd comes in is with issues with sunlight and that comment is a side thread. I never said i had cataracts. I do not. What I have is a very common issue that causes one to lose both distance and close vision at the same time. It can actually lead to middle distance issues as well. I am glad you have little personal experience with this as it means you do not have to deal with it. |

Those are from what I gather from my eye doctor, those who had milder levels of issues to start with, often not needing glasses at all until around 30's or so. |

Jill is adding all sorts of crazy stuff to the thread. I cause cataracts and Maclear degeneration so far. No, I don't swap glasses while driving. I have normal bi-focals for driving and a second set for work that maximize what I need. Road signs are blurry with the work set as they maximuze vision from your chair to the computer and also have the lower area for fine print. The driving set has distance vision and handles the middle area dashboard (and not too shabby for the computer) but can't read fine print with them. |
