This is not for Julie, but if anyone else should accidentally buy way to
many pecans and you are looking for a dessert dish to use them up .... Eggnog Pie. My wife used to make this one for special occasions. I could not be bothered digging out her old Gourmet magazines and typing it out, but I found what appears to be the same recipe online. You start with a pie shell made of ground pecans, butter and sugar. The filling uses milk, gelatin, rum, brandy and lots of whipping cream, and it is garnished with chocolate curls. https://www.justapinch.com/recipes/d...ggnog-pie.html |
