Why are Cheri's rec. food. cooking posts winding up on my The Young and the Restless soap opera newsgroup? This has been happening for a few weeks.

There is a "real" Cheri, and also a "fake" Cheri...mayhaps that is a clue...

They aren't mine, they are being forged and cross posted there under my
name. Some child has nothing better to do.

Not always, but it seems to go in cycles here, some people stealing others
nyms, harrassing them etc. for whatever reason only they would know.

Or just plain stupidity. Many years ago, I posted some recipes on
another cooking newsgroup. Someone who called herself "Purple Ram"
copied my posts exactly and reposted the recipes to RFC as her own.
Yes, she copied them *exactly*, right down to my typos. LOL She copied
my Grandma Mac's potato soup recipe, among others. (I called her out.)

Who knows why people do stupid stuff like that on Usenet.

I really don't like confrontation in newsgroups, but I have been known to
take off on someone a time or two.,,or three. I'm all for letting go of
hostilities when possible.

I hear you, there was a lady in a low carb group years ago who took original
recipes that people posted and claimed them as her own, word for word. As to
the stupidity, there is that. I haven't seen any of those posts in the other
newsgroup that she mentioned because I have the fake addy coming up in
yellow and don't read anything that comes up in yellow there. It would be
simple enough for her to block the fake addy as well.

Well, yeah, but you're completely hateful in many of your posts to many

Not that I agree with copying someone's identity, but maybe it happens
because Cheri's one of the 3 big enablers of the Boner troll.

How so? Because I respond to cooking posts and the like from all posters?
Someone else is deciding who is worthy and not worthy for me to post to
instead of just minding their own posts? I am LMAO at the thought.
