Default Prolly going away fer awhile

I got my new geezer-grade (wifi, but no GPS) flip phone and will
prolly close my Centurylink DSL internet/landline acct, this Monday.
I plan on using the savings to buy a new (to me) used laptop, which I
can lug up to the lodge and use their free almost-broadband service.
Not as fast --or convenient-- as what I'm used to, but infinitely
cheaper.

I'll prolly hook up with Microsoft, fer email. Poor ol' M$! I'm
starting to actually feel sorry for 'em. Whodda thunk it!? They may
be evil/dumb, but they're not Google!

May take me a couple mos to find a good Usenet provider, but I will.
Sorry, but NiN doesn't wanna play. Any other suggestions?

Bottom line: I'll keep posting as long as NiN wants to grant me gratis use, but
I'll have zero "internet" access after Monday.

nb --I'll be back!
