This rice post got me to wondering. My mom used to make what she called
"Chicken Almondine" but I am certain that she wasn't pronouncing it right. She got the recipe from a church member at a potluck. I have seen recipes online but not like hers. Hers was baked in the oven on a bed of rice and I am pretty sure that it contained a can of some sort of soup. The end result looked like it had brown rice, but I think she most likely used a white rice that took on a beige color from the soup. Anyone have a recipe like that? |
