Default Weirdness at Haggen

You may or may not have heard about all the drama with
Albertsons/Safeway/Haggen. But Haggen had to file bankruptcy and most of
their stores in this area are going to now be either Albertsons or Safeway.
The Clearview one was not on that list that I saw online but I heard from an
Albertsons employee that they will in fact be an Albertsons again.

I decided to go there today as they sell a few things that other stores do
not. Overall, their prices are too high for me but I was hoping to get a
few things before the possible conversion. And to my pleasant surprise,
there were price drops all over the store. Perhaps things that they will no
longer carry once they change. I got some organic yellow mustard for only
50 cents! And the margarine I use for a whole $2.00 less per package than
what I pay elsewhere.

I will check back in a week or two to see if these price drops continue. I
am trying to put a dent in my stockpile and not buy much right now but this
might make it worth my stocking up again at least on some things.
