NOT really.

Clean a battery?? Coke contains LOTS of sugar, and conducts electricity.

Oil stains? NOT always (or even often) on flat ground,
so 'soak and wait an hour' won't work. WD40 works MUCH faster.

Oh well..

Some of those things can be done with other household items. The car
battery, for instance, could have been done with baking powder.

Much better use for it than drinking it, No?

No need to lose your tongue in your cheek on my account. I rarely drink
Coke, or any other softer drink. I do have to keep some on hand for
visitors, especially one of my nephews who does not drink coffee because
of the caffeine in it. Go figger.

*** Well that's all you'll have left in there if you drink too much of
the stuff! One of the acids in it is used as a flux when welding
stainless steel, or so an engineer once told me.

For God's sake - stay away from that demon Pepsi too or you might turn
out like this guy!

I convinced my kids how evil it was, took a milk tooth that had come
out and instead of the tooth fairy, put it in a glass of coke
overnight. In the morning no tooth, coke had dissolved it. For
awhile they were of the opinion I removed the tooth so on the qt one
of them did the experiment again and confirmed, no tooth in the a.m.

So? Consider the industrial uses of hydrochloric acid, which occurs
naturally in your stomach.

With rum was the only drink I ever threw up from! When I lived with Bryan in Novelty Studios.

Yep. I suppose if I had some in the house and wanted to get rid of it, I
might try it but I'd rather use a product that is meant for the job.

Some acid rain is sulfuric! From coal generating power plants buring dirty soft coal. STL used to because it was cheap like MalWart until it was outlawed.
