There's a nice Asian market near me with live fish and a selection of fish on ice but I'm a babe in the woods on buying this way. My concern is safety I guess and wonder where the fish comes from? I suppose the live fish is from US fish farms? The fish on ice? Don't want fish from anything even close to toxic environments. great prices and variety -- going there today I think to buy something.

I love Asian markets but I'm too scared to buy fish there. Most of them are unfamiliar to me and god know where the heck they came from. OTOH, eating the stuff probably won't kill you - which is my main criteria for choosing foods. |

Place of origin should be noted somewhere, presumably in English. Then you can check it out via http://www.seafoodwatch.org/seafood-...ns/seafood-a-z -- sf |

The 1970 had that same clean look that still looks contemporary and which lives on in the new Dodge Challenger. |

The fastback was probably the first hatchback in that you could open up the trunk and fold down the rear seat. Very practical! Too bad I had the notchback coupe with a regular rear seat and trunk. Oh well, I still would enjoy driving that car today. |

If one is interested in what Jesus would do, he should eat tilapia. Jesus was one the the greatest cooks ever. How else could anybody feed 5,000 with five loaves of bread and 2 tilapia? |

Didn't the ancient Egyptians > farm tilapia too? You really know your history! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tilapia Tilapia go by many names. The aquaculture of Nile tilapia goes back to Ancient Egypt, where it was represented by the hieroglyph K1, K1 of the Gardiner List. Tilapia were one of the three main types of fish caught in Biblical times from the Sea of Galilee. At that time they were called musht, or commonly now even "St. Peter's fish". The name "St. Peter's fish" comes from the story in the Gospel of Matthew about the apostle Peter catching a fish that carried a coin in its mouth, though the passage does not name the fish.[3] While the name also applies to Zeus faber, a marine fish not found in the area, a few tilapia species (Sarotherodon galilaeus galilaeus and others) are found in the Sea of Galilee, where the author of the Gospel of Matthew recounts the event took place. These species have been the target of small-scale artisanal fisheries in the area for thousands of years.[4][5] The common name tilapia is based on the name of the cichlid genus Tilapia, which is itself a latinisation of thiape, the Tswana word for "fish".[6] Scottish zoologist Andrew Smith named the genus in 1840.[7] |

I had the 273 engine with the regular carb. I liked the trick rally lights which were actually turn signals and the chrome snap open gas cap on the rear flank. My car had a vacuum gauge on the dash which I think every car should have. Oddly enough, there was plenty of leg room in the back. It was quite comfortable if you weren't too tall. If I had one, I'd drive it every day. My mom had a 70 Barracuda. That had a most uncomfortable, hard plastic, pebbled, interior that was unpleasant to be in. I'd have to sit in the back sometimes which bordered on child abuse. One time my dad made a fast stop and I planted my face on the back of the seat. That stuff was so hard, I got abrasions on my face. The small steering wheel was set so low that it would scrape my lap. The rear end was too light and it was pretty easy to lose traction on turns and then you'd see the rear coming to meet you. A most unpleasant car! |
