It looked like that but $43,000 seems way out of line. I had the 273
engine with the regular carb. I liked the trick rally lights which were
actually turn signals and the chrome snap open gas cap on the rear
flank. My car had a vacuum gauge on the dash which I think every car
should have. Oddly enough, there was plenty of leg room in the back. It
was quite comfortable if you weren't too tall. If I had one, I'd drive
it every day.

My mom had a 70 Barracuda. That had a most uncomfortable, hard plastic,
pebbled, interior that was unpleasant to be in. I'd have to sit in the
back sometimes which bordered on child abuse. One time my dad made a
fast stop and I planted my face on the back of the seat. That stuff was
so hard, I got abrasions on my face. The small steering wheel was set so
low that it would scrape my lap. The rear end was too light and it was
pretty easy to lose traction on turns and then you'd see the rear coming
to meet you. A most unpleasant car!
