It does not cost more because of this. I would guess that other brands no longer have HFC. Ophelia is located outside of north America. Janet US |

High Glucose Corn Syrup is corn syrup that has undergone enzymatic processes to convert some of the sucrose to fructose to make it sweeter tasting. |
