Default Bread machine question

Recently, regardless of recipe, my bread machine bread slices around the
paddle have two breaks/splits/?s in the slice from the paddle's gap in the
bottom of the slice up to the top of the slice. Annoying when making
sandwiches. Machine for many years didn't use to do this. Can't think of
anything I've changed.

I asked this in the bread recipe group but have not gotten any responses.

Any suggestions?

TIA

Right after the last knead, remove the paddle.

Try getting a new impeller. Heck, try getting a new pan, impeller,
shafts, and seals. Good luck!
