Anyone have these? She is claiming that they will keep Roma tomatoes on the
counter and fresh for 14 days in the box. She is also selling the bags and
she claimed to have put carrots with the tops in her green bag in the fridge
and they were good for 12 days, including the tops. I do highly doubt that!
She didn't even appear to use them properly, putting a bag over one end and
a bag over the other. No seal. Hm. I tried those bags and all they did
was rot my produce! Would be nice if what she said was true about the boxes
though. I am watching this on HSN.

I can vouch for the green bags. The big thing is....do NOT wash the produce first and then put it in a bag. Put it in 'dirty', and only wash when ready to prepare and eat. I went away once for almost two weeks and some romaine was still edible in the green bag. I have green onions in a green bag right now and they are a week old.

Not sure about the boxes - why don't you read some of the HSN reviews on em? Thing is, who wants to or has to keep romas around for that long? I never buy tomatoes for more than a few days use.

The bags were horrible for me. Rotted the food almost instantly. I did
exactly as it said. Did not wash and blotted away any moisture. Was
especially horrific for bananas.

I read the reviews at Amazon. Just like with the bags, people loved them or
hated them. And they don't seem to be made well. I'll pass.

I just keep bananas in the refrigerator. After a while the peels get
dark but the banana is fine. Sometimes a brown spot but I often see that
on fresh bananas as well.

I only buy a week's supply so don't know how much longer than a week
this works.

Sometimes I start with greenish, sometimes ripe yellow ones. Doesn't
seem to matter.

I don't think they are intended for bananas. I just let my sit on the counter and never buy more that 3 day's worth.

I have rinsed out and reused my green bags countless times.

I just quit buying them. Now I will only buy if someone asks for one or is
sick. They cause too much of a fruit fly problem for me.

They are intended for bananas and that's the reason I bought them. They
claim to keep the bananas fresher. But all they did was make them rot.

I keep my produce in Ziploc bags. Stuff keeps for a long time in those
things.
