Default Cook's privilege

I'm trying to stay out of the way of all the ladies who are over here for my wife's V-Day party, but since I made the soup, I claimed first bowl.

A couple of chicken breasts, some chopped onion, slightly caramelized in EVOO, shredded carrot, a couple small cloves of garlic, about a half cup of chopped chilies, a pinch of cumin and two pinches of Aleppo chile flakes, about a can and a half of low sodium chicken broth, a tiny pinch of MSG, and water as needed.

It's served over freshly fried tortilla strips.
