Default Whisking eggs for scrambled eggs or omeletes

I have a bowl shaped coffee cup, about 5" in diameter. The fact that it has a handle makes it nice for fork whisking eggs. We are dedicating it to that use.

Now, how are you going to drink your cafe au lait?

I use a spring whisk in one of my mother's old pyrex mixing bowls.

Sounds like a soup mug with a handle to me That's what I use mine
for. I use a small mixing bowl for whisking eggs.

I just use a fork and and flip the fork really fast. I don't like cleaning
egg beaters... I worked in a popular restaurant in that was all we did was
use a bowl and a fork. And oddly, the French toast was just bread dunked in
scrambled eggs.

Me too. I have stainless steel bowls with various diameters and 3 are
very small. I choose one that has the depth and/or circumference I
want and use it. I can manage to keep my hands out of the food
without needing a handle.

These days I crack the eggs in a hot pan. The yolk is broken and I use a
fork to scramble the eggs. It's simple, fast, and direct. I prefer the
flecks of white look but you can make the egg turn out practically any
way you want depending on when and how you stir. Sometimes I barely stir
the eggs.

I have several of those soup mugs/bowls. I also use them for cereal
for my small grand-daughters. The 3 year old asked me "Nana Nell, why
is my cereal in a cup?"

When you want to enjoy really special scrambled eggs, add a level teaspoon
of minced green onion, a hefty splat of Tabasco and a spoonful of Hellman's
mayonnaise. Mmm. Good stuff. Polly

I grew up being served soft boiled eggs in a coffee cup. (Not an
oversized one.) When I was about 5 years old I spent the night at a
friends house. Her mother asked me what I'd like for breakfast and I
said, "Egg-a-cup". She had to call my mother to find out what the hell
I was talking about! To this day, I still eat soft boiled eggs out of a
coffee mug
