Did you try googling it? The first 500 hits are all the same formula.

This is a cooking group. If someone is too LAZY to post the recipe or
a link to it then they should STFU.

me-OW! I'm glad you can't reach me with those claws!

2 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups milk
1 or 2 oz melted butter (or cooking oil)
2 eggs

Happy now, Miss Kitty?

Yep. It's a cooking group. Since everyone gets here by computer they can
google recipes. I suggested to someone who was disappointed with
restaurant waffles that he try making them at home. I said that there
are many variations of waffle recipes. I was not raving about any
particular recipe. I would suggest that, under the circumstances, the
lazy one is the one who could not go to google and type in Joy of
Cooking waffle recipe which returns sites with the JoC waffle recipe.

If someone can't do that, why should I go and get my JoC and spent 10-15
minutes typing it out for someone else. I might have done that if it
had been a unique recipe with some special ingredients or techniques.

Besides... this is, as you said, a cooking group. Everyone here should
have Joy of Cooking.
