i've heard of it, not tried it either. i use a lot of minute maid frozen
lemon juice:

....which can be cheaper than fresh lemons, depending.

Since I've cleaned up my cache, I'm not sure if you were asking me the
question. Yes, I zap lemon halves straight from the freezer - I put
them on a small dish first. You'll be amazed how quickly the juice
squeezes out when they've thawed.

***We've been BBQ lemons forever and then freeze them...That store
bought stuff is the pits!...You are correct, they juice quite easily
and of course its the real McCoy ~ Who knows what you're really
getting in a bottle these days!
