Default Silicone bakeware

I decided to make corn muffins today with a new silicone bakeware type
muffin pan. The muffins are great, except that the the very bottom is
burned. The top were a light golden brown, and I pulled them out a
couple minutes early. I know part of this is because I used the
toaster oven, so it cooks fast, and it is close to the bottom of the
toaster oven.

But this is the first time I have burned them, even with a darker
top. . Do I need to shorten times when using silicone bakeware? It was
just a very small amount that burned. I sliced off a thin layer, and
the rest was fine.
