A smaller version of this would be cool.

Looks good, but I am not walking up any ladders. I start shaking like a
Kennedy in a courthouse.

It looks pretty good from a yield per square foot of ground area
perspective, but it sure seems to present some management challenges.
I'd think that a sort of full arch library rolling ladder setup would
make access for maintenance and harvesting a lot easier than the simple
ladder shown.

I suspect something more of a simple "A" frame with tiers of normal
horizontal planters would be more practical. Keep a waterproof interior
and you can use the inside for your garden tool and tractor shed.

How would you keep deer and other critters away from it? I guess a
fence *might* keep out deer if it was high enough, but rabbits and
birds? It's an attractive house, though.

Speaking of birds, I saw a link at your link to those blackbirds that
dropped from the sky in Arkansas. Weird. But then again, those birds
do migrate in huge numbers so it isn't surprising if something like hail
took them down. My house is on a migratory path and those red-winged
blackbirds along with grackles and other black colored birds seem to
migrate together in huge flocks. When they're in my yard, you do not
want to go outside without an umbrella. Ick.
