One of the beaters wouldn't stay in after a few years, the motor was fine though. I didn't replace it with another kitchen aid hand mixer. -- Forget the health food. Our hand mixer is used maybe once a month while the stand is used a couple of times a week. We have a KA and it still works well and I'd probably buy another with no hesitation. Most hand mixers are made in China, including a Dualit I saw last week. Get the one that feels comfortable in your hand. |

I wonder if that's true for hand mixers too. Oh, well. It's gone now. -- Forget the health food. I need all the preservatives I can get. |

I've repaired mixers, etc. for herself many times. Now that I'm the house husband I repair them for me. Color me tight with the dough. |
