Anyone doing this too, when I make an espresso, after tamping down the grind
I sprinkle on ground clove or cinnamon. Y'all know I'm a ground breaker !

Been doing it for years. Try cardamom, it's wonderful with coffee.

Bingo. Fresh ground cardamom. Even in regular coffee. No new news,
here.

LOL! Coffee with real cream and cinnamon on top was a real treat in our
household when I was but a young'un.

Never liked flavoured espresso. The American version with the lemon rind
is OK though.

Anise is good with coffee too, as is cardamom.

I think I qualify as a caffeine junky, usually three or so Lattes each
moaning.

I've tried all sorts of extra flavours in coffee, but invariably I
find that I really do prefer my coffee to be unadulterated with extra
flavours (besides cream and milk).

That said, I do occasionally add a small dash of brandy or cognac.

I've tried what you tried with some cacao powder, but I didnt think
much of it.
