| While watching her 30 Minute Meals show I have noticed that from time to
| time she will speak as if that is her house and her kitchen. She took some
| fresh herbs out of the fridge the other day and said "I just picked these
| up at the store today." Another time she said something about that being
| her kitchen.
|
| Please, that's a studio, not her home kitchen. The whole show is bogus as
| hell to begin with. She wants you to think she comes up with these amazing
| recipes that can be done in 30 minutes or less, but it's all planned out.
| I have seen her go to the oven to turn it on. She places her hand on the
| knob but she doesn't turn it. It's a total fake out. When she goes to
| break and returns, all the trash in her famous garbage bowl that she
| thinks is the most amazing thing since sliced bread will be empty, all the
| crap that was on the counters will be gone and cleaned up real tidy, and
| food that would take 5-10 minutes to cook will be done. I saw her frying
| up some ravioli. She had just put them in the pan when she went to break.
| When they came back there was a huge stack of them already done, nicely
| browned. There was no way she could have fried all of those ravioli in 2
| minutes. IT'S ALL CRAP!

It's more believable than her saying she can spend all day pigging out in
some big city for 40 bucks a day.

I like the "$40 a Day" show. Rachel Ray just did an episode of
that show in Las Vegas which I enjoyed. Esp. when Ray talked
about one of my favorite Vegas meals, the off menu steak and
shrimp special for $7.77 at Mr. Lucky's in the Hard Rock casino.
My only gripe with that show is that $40 is too high. She ought
to do the show based on the IRS per diem rate for each city
she visits, rather than a fixed amount. That way, the show would
be useful for those who do a lot of business travel.
