Salmonella is a bacterial infection, not something that would come from
chemical pesticides and fertilizers. It is also rare on tomatoes, so
rare a short news article was written on the subject. Most tomatoes
will be salmonella free regardless of what sorts of pesticides and
fertilizers are used.
