Default Commercial Frozen Fruit/Vegetables: To wash or not to wash?

When one buys a bag of lettuce it often says, "triple-washed" and/or
"ready to eat." However, I don't recall seeing either description on a
bag of frozen broccoli or blueberries.

Why should I therefore consider that it is triple--or single washed, and
"ready to eat?" Should I treat the item as I would fresh fruit and
vegetables which also don't say anything about washing?

What do others think?

Thanks!

You should definitly wash all your fruit and vegetables.....even if it
has been triple washed, it may have been placed in the bag by someone
who didn't wash their hands after going to the toilet...
It may have less fertilizer residue...and that's a good thing.
This was from a state government website that covers the food safety
handling info.

"Thoroughly rinse all fruit and vegetables in
clean water, to remove soil, bacteria, insects
and chemicals".

"Handling Food
Everyone has bacteria on their bodies. Even
healthy people can spread bacteria onto
food by touching it with their hands".
