Make spiced pecans.
Spiced Pecans 1/2 cup sugar 3 Tbsp water 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cayenne (I use a little more) 2 cups pecans Preheat oven to 350. Combine first 4 ingredients and stir until sugar dissolves. Boil 2 minutes and add pecans; stir until well coated. Using slotted spoon, put pecans on oiled baking sheet. Bake about 12 minutes and transfer to waxed paper - break apart when cooled. |
